Founded by Colin Petts, the company built its reputation through dependable service, quality workmanship, and a commitment to doing what was right for the client. Over time, that reputation became our greatest source of growth, with most new clients continuing to find us through referrals from existing customers.
Over the past five decades, Carpetizing has expanded its services to include carpet, upholstery, tile, and hard-surface cleaning while continually investing in modern equipment, advanced cleaning technology, and environmentally responsible cleaning solutions. While much has changed over the years, our core philosophy remains the same: deliver reliable service, provide honest recommendations, and build lasting client relationships.
Today, Carpetizing is proudly operated by the second generation of the Petts family. We continue to build on the foundation established in 1975 while helping clients throughout Metro Vancouver protect the appearance, performance, and longevity of their properties.
