Carpetizing is not a general janitorial company. We specialize in floor and fabric care for occupied strata and commercial buildings.

It started in 1975 with Colin Petts saying yes to the right work, done the right way — a principle the business still operates on today. That commitment built a reputation through dependable service, quality workmanship, and honest recommendations. Over time, that reputation became our greatest source of growth, with most new clients continuing to find us through referrals from existing customers.

Over the past five decades, Carpetizing has expanded its services to include carpet, upholstery, tile, and hard-surface cleaning while continually investing in modern equipment and advanced cleaning technology. While much has changed over the years, our core philosophy remains the same: deliver reliable service, provide honest recommendations, and build lasting client relationships.

Today, Carpetizing is proudly operated by the second generation of the Petts family. We continue to build on the foundation established in 1975 while helping clients throughout Metro Vancouver protect the appearance, performance, and longevity of their properties.
