Odours We Treat and Reduce

We identify and treat odours affecting suitable carpets, upholstery and other cleanable surfaces rather than simply masking them with fragrance. Odours that originate beneath the surface or involve contamination may require additional restoration or replacement.

Pet Odours

Treatment for urine, dander and other pet-related odours affecting suitable carpets and upholstery. Contamination that has penetrated the backing, underpad or subfloor may not be fully correctable through surface cleaning alone.

Smoke & Tobacco Odours

Treatment for cigarette, cigar and residual smoke odours affecting suitable carpets and upholstery. This is not a fire-restoration or structural smoke-remediation service.

Organic Odours

Targeted treatment for suitable carpets and upholstery affected by food, beverage, body oils and other organic sources.

Food & Cooking Odours

Treatment for persistent food and cooking odours absorbed into suitable carpets, upholstery and fabric furnishings.

Beverage & Organic Spills

Targeted treatment for odours associated with coffee, food, spills and other organic contamination affecting suitable carpet and upholstery fibres.

Stale Fabric Odours

Cleaning may help reduce odours held in older carpets and upholstered furniture. Persistent mustiness may indicate an underlying moisture or ventilation issue requiring further investigation.

Technician Method

Our Treatment Process

Different stains and odours require different approaches. We assess the affected material and likely source, select an appropriate treatment method, and explain the realistic limitations before work begins.

  • Inspection, fibre testing and assessment
  • Targeted pre-treatment of stains and odour sources
  • Agitation and extraction where appropriate
  • Specialty odour treatment when required
  • Final inspection and maintenance recommendations

Enzyme Treatments

For suitable organic contamination such as pet urine, enzyme-based products may help break down odour-producing residues. Results depend on the depth and extent of the contamination.

Optional Fabric Protection

Professional fabric protection can help suitable fibres resist spills and everyday soiling, giving occupants more time to respond before liquids absorb. Protection does not make carpet or upholstery stain-proof.

Maintenance Program Support

Clients with an active maintenance program may receive priority assistance with urgent spots between scheduled visits, subject to the scope of their agreement and technician availability.

Before We Arrive

1

Act Quickly

The sooner you address a stain, the easier it is to remove. Blot (don't rub!) excess liquid immediately.

2

Test First

Before applying any cleaning solution, test in an inconspicuous area to ensure it won't damage the fabric.

3

Call the Pros

For tough or set-in stains and odours, professional treatment gives the best chance of lasting results.
